MEET SONARTA'S TEAM

Shahla,     

  Shahla’s educational background and diverse life experiences inform her innovative approach to the arts. Holding a master’s degree in the arts, she carefully selects media such as alabaster, marble, clay, bronze, and paint, leveraging their textures and luminosity to realize her conceptual projects. Each piece begins with a core idea that develops through the creative process. Shahla appreciates natural irregularities and imperfections, recognizing them as unique qualities that contribute to the authenticity of her work. She is a highly accomplished artist, recognized with numerous awards and having contributed to multiple public commissions and private collections.                                                                                  
As her artistic practice continues to evolve through the exploration of new techniques and materials, her work consistently aims to inspire hope and promote harmony. She is dedicated to serving as a symbol of optimism and resilience. Shahla was appointed to the Oklahoma City Arts Commission and was selected for Leadership Oklahoma’s Class XVI. She has served two terms on the boards of various arts organizations, demonstrating her dedication to the arts community. Additionally, she has held positions on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma City Rotary Club, as well as on the Executive Board and Board of Directors for the LA5 Rotary Club of Los Angeles, where she utilized her artistic talents to support scholarship programs and community service initiatives.
                                                                                                                                         
Artist: Cyrus 

        Cyrus is an accomplished artist who has been a valued member of our team since 2015 and has contributed to the successful development of the sculpture for the Oklahoma City Fire Department project.                                            His role has since broadened to include coordinating the design and development of a nine-foot-tall maquette for presentation purposes, supporting Sonarta’s advancement as a finalist in the City of Denver Station 40 project.

Analyst and Marketing Director: James

James is a founding member of our organization and has played a vital role in its development since its inception. His extensive expertise in technology and media has contributed to the production of over 200 videos, including coverage of the Sonarta project and documentation of various artists' work. His video content is available for viewing on Sonarta's official YouTube channel.
