Public Art Installations

I am honored to have been selected as the artist to create these 4 major public art pieces. My forever gratitude to those who placed their trust in my abilites and paved the way to install these monuments, which will stand the test of time, while honoring so many.

 

"They Gave The Last Full Measure Of Devotion"

This 6'2" tall(life size) bronze piece is dedicated to the Firefighters from the Oklahoma City Fire Department, who paid the ultimate sacrifice, while serving their community. The site measures 27" W X 6'2" X 35"D.

   

"Going Home", I-40 Bridge Memorial

In 2003, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation selected Shahla to create the I-40 Bridge Memorial, titled: "Going Home". This memorial honors the lives of the 14 victims and 5 survivors of the I-40 Bridge collapse tragedy.

 

 

   

 

 "Just Another Day", Oklahoma State Fallen and Living Memorial

In 2000, the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association dedicated a memorial to the Fallen and Living Firefighters of Oklahoma. This project includes two pieces created by Shahla: "Just Another Day" and "Eternal Flame".
