Cherish

Cherish was carved from  a Utah red alabaster. The smooth surface of this piece brings calm and gentleness to its viewer. The stone was chosen for its red color representing the color of "Heart" and "Love". It fits the entire concept of maternal love and affection. The base is carved out of walnut and has been varnished. 

Here is how some described this piece:

Cherish represents the eternal bond of love between a mother and child. This is the first time a human being experiences love through a gentle touch of his/her mother. That is an everlasting love for both of them.
